Mara Grayson is an educator, writer, and yoga instructor originally from Brooklyn, New York. Her fiction, nonfiction and poetry have appeared in such publications as Mr. Beller's Neighborhood, Fiction, Teaching English in the Two-Year College, Poetry in Performance, and others. Mara leads group and private yoga instruction, teaches composition at Pace University in New York City, and is currently finishing a PhD in English Education at Teachers College, Columbia University.
